Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Anyway, there are some new mac ads out, so click here to see them.
PS: I have decided to become an app developer
Happy April Fools!
Hey guys! iPhone OS 3 was announced recently and I am going to give you a brief preview of it. I will talk about it in two parts. First for developers, then for customers. For developers, there are now over a thousand new API’s. Some of the new features developers can make is:
In app purchase, which allows developers to create things to buy in an app that cost real money. One example is reading books on your iPhone/iPod Touch. Right now you can either sell one book per app, or sell several books in one app for one price. With iPhone OS 3.0, once you buy the reader app, you can buy books from within the app. The cost is charged to your iTunes store account.
Also, apple has finally finished push notification. They had to completely re-architect push notification because what developers wanted to do was not possible with what apple had made previously. It doesn’t run background processes so it doesn’t take up battery life. The servers send your notification over your service provider connection.
Another new cool feature is the ability to put your music from the iPod app inside an app. Say you buy the music system in Sims 3, when you turn it on it plays your music from the music app.
There is also the ability to embed apple’s maps from the map app into your application.
Lastly, you can make accesories for your app. Ex: If you have an app that mesures blood pressure, you could might make a blood pressure sensor that plugs into the iphone.
iPhone OS 3.0 will be availible this summer. iPhone users can get it for free. iPod Touch users can get it for $10
Hey the new shuffle is out! First let’s look at the new design:
It is now almost half the size of the previous shuffle, but twice the memory space with 4 GB. The new iPod Shuffle also has a killer feature: VoiceOver. This is the first MP3 player that talks to you. It doesn’t have a screen, like all iPod Shuffles, but this one is the first to compensate. This iPod will read out the names of songs, playlists, albums, etc… that are in a menu. If you are playing a song, and tap the middle button, it will also read out the name of the song and the artist. But some people are complaining that you can’t use different headphones which can be annoying. To find out more click here.
The new Mac Mini has some similar features like faster graphics and iLifè `09. Here are some pics:
The new Mac Mini can also run on only 13 watts when idle! To find out more click here.
Apple introduced the new iMac recently and now the 20″ iMac is $1199 and the 24″ is $1499. It also comes with iLife ‘09, faster graphics, double the memory and double the hard drive memory space. Here i’ll show you some pictures:

Hello. The beta of Safari 4 is out and it has really cool new features:
Safari now has the ability to show you all your favorite sites at a glance. There is also coverflow to flip through your bookmarks or history, like you were flipping through albums in iTunes. Here, take a look at these pictures to get a better idea of what I’m talking about:

There are also a few other features:
You can now search through your entire history, and now your tabs are at the top of the page, allowing for more reading space. It now also goes faster and for Windows users, safari 4 is more integrated with the windows interface. There are also developer tools in it. Supposedly the best you can get in a browser. So download Safari 4. To find out more click here.
There’s a new iPhone ad thats pretty cool. Click here to check it out
Steve Jobs is temporarily leaving apple due to health problems, but will be back soon!
The iTunes Store now has millions of iTunes Plus songs, which are DRM-Free, so

they’ll play on any MP3 player or computer and they are high quality, 256kbs. You can up
grade
any song you bought to itunes plus for 30 cents, and a whole album for 30% of the album price.
Apple recently designed a better battery for they’re Macbook Pro, that can be

fully recharged 1,000 times, and you can get 8 hours off 1
charge, for the same price and the same weight. There is a downside, you can’t remove the battery, but you don’t need to too much, because 8 hours is a good days work, then you charge it overnight. I’ll leave the rest to this video. (watch the breakthrough battery video)
iWork 09 came out recently and now I’m going to talk about it a bit.
Pages: Pages is Apple’s Microsoft word. It is a lot like word. It has simple word processing, but it has all the fancy shmancy you might want too. It has a lot of templates to choose from. It also has a new feature called full screen view, in which you can focus on writing without other distractions, but you can still get the toolbar by moving the mouse to the top of the screen. I’ll leave the rest to this video.
Numbers: Numbers is the equivalent to excel. But, there is a difference. In excel you have one huge (I mean HUGE) table and in numbers, you can have as many as you want, so that you don’t have to have everything on a table. Now in numbers, to add a formula you just have to select boxes, and in the bottom left corner there is the most used formula that you just have to drag into a cell! I’ll leave the rest to this video.
Keynote: Keynote is, you guessed it, powerpoint (apple edition). It has lots of templates so don’t worry about not finding a good one. Keynote, unlike powerpoint 08 for mac, can have motion paths. And now you can make even more effects! You can also make one click transitions. You can add motion to charts, you can save you’re file as a powerpoint file, and if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, you can download an app called keynote remote, which acts like a wifi remote. I’ll leave the rest to this video

Hello World! I will be posting for Macman1997 from now on (I am Macman1997). I will also be posting on noel7123cp.wordpress.com. If you play Club Penguin you might be interested in that site
Hey. iLife ‘09 just came out and it’s pretty cool. iPhoto’s main new features are called faces, and places. Faces lets you name someone on a picture, then it will find all the pictures it thinks has that person. Places is an especially good feature if you have an iPhone or a camera that adds GPS location metadata to your pictures. If you don’t have a camera like that then you can manually add the locations. You can then go to places on the sidebar and it shows you a map with the locations of all your pictures.Click here for a guided tour. iMovie also has some new features like themes, which when you apply them automatically puts in cool transitions, and the ability to slow down clips, speed them up and play them in reverse. Click here for a guided tour. Garageband has a really cool new feature. It can give guitar or piano lessons! Click here for more info.
Merry Christmas!
Apple just came out with the x-mas tv ads. Click here to see them. They won’t be there forever. When they are not there I am going to change the link to where they are
Hey guys. I just realized that I can put links to the iTunes store on my site so when I find something cool on the iTunes store I will put a link to it. (By the way, for this to work you must have iTunes on your computer.) Click here to get a link to my christmas mix
I’m sorry for the technical difficulties, but the video is ready! It isn’t really apple related, but I made pretty much completely with my mac!
When I make more videos, I will put them all on a page, but I will still post about them.

Click on the boxed menu to change speakers

Hey! I’m going to explain AirTunes to you guys. So basically you choose a speaker (see picture top) and then play your music. Give it a few seconds, then the music will start playing from the speakers connected to the airport express. You can play the same music from multiple speakers (including your computers speakers) at the same time! Though you can’t play different music from different speakers, unless you use 2 computers that are both setup with airport expresses. For more explanation see picture bottom, or click here.
If you go to starbucks and have an iPod or listen to music on your computer with iTunes then while you are at starbucks, pick up the card and when you get to your computer and have internet access then go on the iTunes store and click redeem, then enter the code on the back of the card.
Hey guys. I know that this isn’t related to apple, but I am making a music video and it will be on my site soon! So check here soon to see it!
I’m sorry. I’m having problems with quality so it will be quite a while before it is on my site.
Hey. Apple just came out with their new macbook. I think its totally worth the upgrade. If you don’t have a macbook or macbook pro, then you should get one. They are so amazing. You’ll have to see for yourself
Click here to watch the video.
iPod Touch: The new ipod touch is only 8 mm thin. Apple has added external speakers and physical volume buttons. It also comes with the iPhone 2.0 software (if you have the first generation, then you can buy the software for $10) which has the app store, which in turn is a gateway to thousands of new apps (a lot of them are free).
Hey Guys. I’m going to give this review in parts.
iTunes: Apple came out with iTunes 8. Here are some of its features. You can now buy HD TV shows on the iTunes Store. There’s also a feature called genius which makes playlists of songs that go great together with one click. There is also a feature called grid view which lets you look at album covers in a grid view (a bit like iPhoto).
Hey Guys. Sorry to keep you waiting. Now lets get started.
Click here to see the video (if you have a slow internet connection, I will review the video in parts over the next few days).
After a while though, apple will remove the video from the server.
